Chris Scott founded Rockridge Contracting in 1988, building on a strong foundation of experience gained while working alongside his father, Ivan Scott—a master stonemason on the Bruce Peninsula. Inspired by his early exposure to the trades, Chris launched his own concrete and masonry business, which steadily evolved over the years.
As his expertise grew, so did the scope of the company. Rockridge Contracting gradually transitioned from specialized masonry work to full-scale construction, focusing on new homes and cottages throughout the Peninsula.
With over 37 years in the industry, Chris has become a trusted authority on construction in the region. His deep understanding of the local landscape, building practices, and history makes him an invaluable resource for clients seeking quality craftsmanship backed by decades of experience.

After graduation, James spent several years in Kitchener working as a construction estimator on large-scale, multi-million dollar projects. However, he eventually realized that city life wasn't the right fit for him. In 2022, he returned to the Bruce Peninsula to rejoin his father and continue his work at Rockridge Contracting
